- The American Cancer Society will host its African American Men’s Health Conference, Oct. 8, at the Baltimore Convention Center at 1 W. Pratt St. in Baltimore. The free event will feature educational sessions on a variety of key health topics, including cardiovascular disease, cancer and mental health, and will serve as a clarion call to African American men to take a proactive role in improving their health.
